IPPT Training Core Exercises
IPPT Push Ups
Purpose:
To assess upper body strength, also helps in to build chest, shoulders, and triceps.
Benefits:
Push-ups help build strength in the chest, shoulder and triceps that helps in everyday tasks like lifting, pushing and carrying.
Execution:
Participants must perform as many push-ups as possible in a set time (typically 60 seconds).
Scoring:
The number of push-ups completed in the allotted time and also you can calculate score in the IPPT Chart.

IPPT Sit Ups
Purpose:
To measure core strength, with a focus on the abdominal muscles and hip flexors.
Benefits:
Sit ups increase your core strength, improve flexibility, better posture, improve athletic performance and calorie burning.
Execution:
Similar to push-ups, participants have 60 seconds to perform as many sit-ups as possible.

2.4-Kilometer Run
Purpose:
This exercise evaluates cardiovascular endurance and benchmark physical fitness.
Benefits:
Doctors also recommended that if you do regular running it will increase your stamina and also benefit your heart and lungs.
Execution:
Participants must run 2.4 km as quickly as possible. The run is typically conducted on a track or road.
Scoring:
Complete the running in low time the more points you receive, with separate time thresholds based on age and gender.

How do I use the IPPT Scorer?
This grade calculating tool is very easy to use. Simply follow these steps to calculate grades and explore additional features.
Step 1: Select Your Gender
There are two options. Male, female. Choose one option according to your gender. There are different criteria for different genders. Males have different IPPT calculation criteria, and females have different ones.
Step 2: Select Your Age Group
Here you will find different age group dropdowns: 17-21 years, 22-24 years, 25-27 years, 28-30 years, and so on. Now you will select according to your age year.
Step 3: Select Push-Ups
Now, you will select the number that shows how many push-up reps you will complete properly in one minute. If you want to get more points, then you will have to complete more than 30 reps in a minute. These push-ups should be powerful, strong, and fulfill the criteria.
Step 4: Select Sit-Ups
In this selection, you have to select the option of how many sit-ups you will complete in a minute. If you want to get more points, then you will have to complete 30 or 30+ sit-ups to get maximum points, but these sit-ups should fulfill the IPPT criteria.
Step 5: Select time interval
Now, you will have to select the time interval in which you can complete the 2.4 km of running. If you want to get maximum IPPT Points in running, you will have to complete this running in a minimum of 9 minutes.

If you complete 30 or 30+ Pushups in one minute then you will get 100 points, If you complete 25-29 push-ups in one minute then you will get 80-99 points and If you complete 20-24 push-ups reps then you will get 60-79 points.
